This superb self catering cottage is situated at Symonds Yat West, enjoying breathtaking views across the gorge to Symonds Yat East. This rather spacious cottage is located halfway between Monmouth and the historic market town of Ross-on-Wye with all local attractions and activities being just a leisurely walk, a unique rope ferry trip or a short drive away.

About Time Cottage can accommodate up to eight persons and proprietors, Peter and Marjorie Whyberd have taken every care to elegantly furnish and fully equip the cottage with all the modern comforts of home.

The large kitchen / dining room is fully equipped with all modern facilities. These include a full sized electric cooker and hob, a microwave oven, a fridge, dishwasher, a full range of utensils and a music centre. Cooking and dining in this beautifully lit room will be an absolute pleasure. However, if you prefer not to cook for yourself whilst on holiday, there is a whole range of inns and restaurants within the vicinity. There is a utility room adjoining the kitchen which houses a washing machine, a freezer, an iron and ironing board and a clothes airer as well as a sink and WC.

The lounge at About Time Cottage is incredibly spacious, yet cosy with it's feature fireplace, sofas and comfortable armchairs. This lovely room is equipped with Freeview TV, a DVD player and a selection of books, games and CDs to keep the family occupied during the evenings or rainy days. During the summer months, what better way to spend the evening, than sitting outside on the front patio, admiring the outstanding views? There is also a garden to the rear of the building.

All four bedrooms at About Time Cottage have their own individual character and are all tastefully and comfortably furnished. The master bedroom has en suite facilities and a balcony with lovely views of the River Wye and the Wye Valley. There are a further two double bedrooms, one of which has a refrigerator and there is a twin bedded room which is ideal for young children. There is a good sized family bathroom incorporating a bath and overhead shower. All rooms have thermostatically controlled radiators and all bed linen and towels are provided.

There are many nice walks in the immediate vicinity of About Time Cottage and the village shop is less than a mile away. Guests are welcome to bring well behaved dogs with them by prior arrangement.
