Sarah and Dominic would like to welcome you to The Apple Store,
a self contained annexe to 'Old Kiln House', which is an 18th
century farmhouse and cider orchard. Situated on 'Great Doward'.
'Great Doward' is a hill of mixed farm and woodland set in the
lower Wye Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the property has
extensive views across the Wye
Valley. Numerous excellent walks begin right from the doorstep
and King
Arthur's Cave can be seen and easily visited from the Apple
Store. The old barn and outbuilding have recently been restored
to provide comfort and modern convenience in an idyllic rural
setting.

The
sleeping accommodation on the upper floor comprises two bedrooms;
a twin room and a double bedroom with en suite shower room. Bed
linen and towels are included in the tariff and beds will be made
up for you prior to arrival. A cot is available on request and
there is sufficient room for a cot in either bedroom.
On
the ground floor is a beamed sitting room with extensive views
of surrounding farm and woodland, and is furnished with two comfortable
sofas, a dresser, occasional tables, digital TV and DVD. The kitchen/diner
is equipped with a hob / oven, a dishwasher, a fridge, a microwave
oven and a washing machine. There is also a WC / shower room on
this floor. A table and four chairs seat four adults comfortably
and a highchair is available for your young child.
If
you don't wish to cook during your stay at The Apple Store, there
are many pubs and restaurants just a short drive away.

Outside
the cottage is a private, fenced orchard area with beautiful views
over the valley leading to the River Wye. Here you will find a
south facing patio with seating and barbecue. There is parking
outside the cottage for several cars.
Pets
may be accommodated on request. Weekly rates range from £275 low
season to £400 high season and short breaks are available.
