Despite the unfortunate weather, Ross Carnival was still enjoyed by many and there was a good turnout to watch the parade through town, which stayed dry in the main. The carnival field events were somewhat dampened by torrential rain, which was a great shame as months of preparation had gone towards the various displays. Many people still braved the weather to attend the event, however.
