on the banks of the River Wye, with gardens running literally
down to the water's edge at Wilton, Ross-on-Wye, Bridge House
'The Bridge at Wilton' offers superb accommodation.
Each of the nine rooms is furnished with en-suite bathroom, television
and telephone. Many of the rooms boast stunning views across the
gardens and river towards the town of Ross-on-Wye and are adorned
with original artwork by local artists.
The
Bridge at Wilton's impressive restaurant attracts diners from
far and wide to enjoy the fine and imaginative cuisine on offer,
such as Herefordshire sirloin of beef, halibut or venison, perhaps
preceded by roasted parsnip maple soup. Fresh seasonal vegetables
are picked from the hotel's gardens, enhancing the award winning
chef's creative dishes, along with home-made bread and sauces.
The Bridge has twice been awarded 'Restaurant of the Year' (2005
and 2006) at the 'Flavours of Herefordshire Awards'.
