Brookend Street runs from Five Ways to merge into Broad Street and is linked to Edde Cross Street and Trenchard Street via New Street and Kyrle Street. Over the period of these photographs. a few shop fronts have changed but this is not too noticeable in these particular shots. The middle and bottom left photographs were taken from close to the junction of Station Street. Occasionally, but thankfully not too often, Brookend Street is liable to flood if the water table rises and the Millpond overflows.
