Caradoc Court is a magnificent historic manor house set in its own beautiful grounds above the River Wye a few miles from Ross-on-Wye. A dwelling has existed on the site from the 12th century and the oldest parts of the current house date from 1630. This former seat of the Viscounts Scudamore has recently been meticulously restored to its former splendour and elegantly furnished with antiques throughout. The house is situated in lovely countryside and approached by means of its own private drive. It is close to the Herefordshire trail in the heart of walking, horse riding, canoeing and cycling country. Sellack itself is a group of scattered hamlets centred on the picturesque 12th century parish church of St Tysilio.

There is a choice of accommodation at Caradoc Court. You can enjoy a restful stay in one of our well appointed bed & breakfast rooms; all of which are spacious and fitted out to an extremely high standard with en suite facilities, television and tea and coffee making facilities. King size, double and twin bedrooms are available and the room rate ranges between £100-120 including VAT.

If you prefer to cater for yourself, you may like to take advantage of the spacious and beautifully furnished fully self contained east wing with its own separate entrance. It has four bedrooms equipped to comfortably accommodate up to 8 people. The kitchen comes fully equipped with Aga, electric hob, dishwasher, fridge freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer.

There is also a studio flat available which is compact but fully equipped with its own separate entrance and ideally suited as a relaxing hideaway for a couple. Weekly rates for the east wing range from £800-1,200 and for the studio from £150-300 according to season. Broadband facilities are available.

A non smoking policy is adopted throughout and regrettably pets cannot be accommodated.

Caradoc Court with its beautiful grounds is also a magic location for weddings and other functions. The great hall, ballroom and conservatory are all licensed for civil ceremonies and up to 120 guests can comfortably be seated for dinner in the ballroom.
