CHRISTMAS CARNIVAL 2002 |

|
The
2002 Christmas Carnival and torchlight procession took place on
December 21st with the Cubs, Brownies and Majorettes marching
from the bottom of Brookend Street to the Market Building, where
Father Christmas gave all the children of the town a present.
As can be seen from the top left photograph of Brookend Street,
a fine rain fell during the event but it was not wet enough to
cause a problem.
