Fran Brown would like to welcome you to Copperfield House, a modern, spacious family home offering excellent bed and breakfast accommodation. Copperfield House is situated in the village of Wilton, overlooking the lovely riverside meadows and lies approximately half a mile from the market town of Ross-on-Wye. The house is conveniently placed just off the A40 and M50 and is ideal to use as a base when touring the area or visiting nearby Hereford, Gloucester, the Forest of Dean, or the historic market town of Monmouth. The beautiful Wye Valley Walk also passes approximately 300 yards from Copperfield House.

Local amenities include a shop / garage and the benefit of several good restaurants, all within 5 minutes walking distance. A wider choice of shops and restaurants may be found in Ross-on-Wye itself, which is a 20 minute walk or 5 minute drive away.

Copperfield House can accommodate up to five people and comprises an en suite double room and a twin / triple room, with private bathroom. Both rooms are beautifully furnished and are kept impeccably clean. Each room has it's own individual style and benefits from central heating, H & C, courtesy tray, hairdryers and remote control colour TV. Children are welcome at Copperfield House and a travel cot and high chair can be provided upon request. Every care has been taken to ensure your stay at Copperfield House is as pleasant and relaxing as possible.

Breakfast is served each morning in the very attractive dining room which overlooks the gardens. You may choose between a full traditional English cooked breakfast or a vegetarian alternative, either of which is sure to set you up for the day. Special dietary requirements can be met and babies can be catered for.

After a busy day sight seeing, guests are welcome to relax in the Japanese themed conservatory or the garden. There is off street parking and there are drying facilities for those caught out by the English weather! Well behaved dogs are also welcome at Copperfield House.

Copperfield House is a non-smoking establishment, however guests are welcome to smoke outside.

The tariff at Copperfield House for 2009 is as follows and includes breakfast:

Large double ensile room @ £63.00 per night

Twin room with private bathroom @ £63.00 per night

Triple/Family room with private bathroom £95.00 per night

Single occupancy of any room, subject to availability charged @ £45.00 per night.

Copperfield House is within easy reach of places of scenic and historic interest, beautiful riverside walks and there are many activities to be enjoyed in the area such as fishing, canoeing, cycling, walking or simply just relaxing.
