Dave Swinerton was born in Staffordshire. He attended Walsall College of Art and following several years in Engineering, he moved to Ross-on-Wye which rekindled his passion for painting. I came to know Dave through his partner, Tina, with whom I had corresponded several times via this web site. The two Tinas, (confusing at times as my partner is also Tina) Dave, Kevin and I became friends after meeting up in person at Ross Market, all of us having discovered that we had many interests in common.

Dave spends endless hours in his attic studio, working with a range of materials such as charcoal, water colours, pastels and mixed media but mostly prefers to use acrylics.
