This film
shows the gradual onset of autumn in the Forest of Dean and is
set to the three movements of 'Autumn', from 'The Four Seasons'
by Vivaldi. The scenes were mostly shot between mid September
and late October 2009. Most were filmed using stop motion techniques
but there is also some video included. The buck scene was filmed
in October 2008 and the chestnut, in 2002. The
locations include Soudley Ponds, the Nature reserve lake on the
opposite side of the road to Speech House and in the woods above
Soudley.
The film can
be watched full screen by clicking the button at the right hand
side of the progress bar. If
your computer or internet connection is not the fastest, HD can
also be switched off but the quality of video reproduction will
not be quite as good.
