Seeing in the New Year is fun in Ross-on-Wye. Of course, lots of private parties and events are held but many public events also take place around the many inns in town. At midnight, hundreds of people gather at Ross Market House to see in the new year.

On New Year's Day, a fancy dress fun run takes place from Hole-in-the-Wall to Ross. Some runners are competitive but most just go to blow the cobwebs away.

This film was shot during the new year celebrations of 2009, which went out with a partially eclipsed 'Blue' moon, and into 2010 with the fun run.
