Flooding
occurs on the River Wye at Ross frequently - at least once
per year but more usually two or three times per year. The
photograph below was taken at around 9:00 pm on Wednesday,
6th December 2006. Taking it was not an easy task with the
camera and tripod being blown about in the high winds but
I think the effort was worthwhile.
To
see further flooding in Ross-on-Wye, including WNTV video
footage of the December 2000 town centre flood, the various
links below the photograph will take you to more flood coverage
pages on Wyenot
News.
