2002 Christmas / Midwinter Weekend in Ruardean

Below are just a few of the one hundred and sixty photographs I took during the weekend event. I am sorry that I cannot put them all on this web site and please do not feel offended if you do not appear on this page. I will be making them all available as a high quality CD ROM Slide Show and 10 x 8 inch prints early in 2003. Those photographs which do appear are not chosen out of favouritism - there are just so many I had to resort to the, ' Ip dip birds **** ' method. (I'm sure anybody with any knowledge of traditional English schoolboy verse will know the rest of the rhyme - along with 'My friend Billy,' no doubt.)

I would also like to apologize to those appearing below whose names I do not know. In trying to photograph everybody at least once I did not take everybody's name in at the time. I'm sure somebody will email me the information so that I can update the captions - please.

Thank you to Bev and Chris for organizing such a fantastic event and for providing food and somewhere to sleep for at least thirty people. Also, thanks Sandy for providing beds and a wonderful breakfast for Tina, Siggy and myself after our day which began with getting up for work at 3:30 am and finished at 2:30 am the following day, after one or seven pints of beer. I for one would not have survived the weekend had it not been for you!
