from page one, this
page shows various tournaments taking place, with the knights
using a whole range of weapons and tactics. This developed into
a melee which was only brought to an end by the cry, 'The pubs
are now open!'
The
brave knights certainly deserved their beer as the armour adds
at least a stone to their weight and the fighting is not choreographed
- the bruises are real!
Guy,
of Saxony introduces Little Jason of London, 'Come and 'av a go!'.
Barak,
in the red battles it out with Craig of Cullen, in green.
Alan
of Wessex defeats Little Jason of London.
Rhys
of Newport in white duels with Matthew Le Beaux of France.
Bartholomew
Bergesh about to deliver a fatal blow to Roberto Fortez.
Hugh
of Kilgerran in red battling it out with John Du Lac, in blue.
Guy
of Saxony and Craig of Cullen at war with some formidable weaponry.
A
final melee - Last man standing gets the drinks in!
Battle
drawing to a close and it looks like the drinks may be bought
by an Italian.
The
knights and their ladies take a bow.
