took the photograph below, of 'The Knighting of Sir Richard'
in the Chapel at Goodrich Castle. The ghostly effect is obviously
not real - it was achieved by accident when the electronic flash
had not recharged fully and did not go off, causing the camera
to try an automatic long exposure, during which I moved very
slightly and Sir Richard began to arise. I don't usually show
my failure shots but thought I would make an exception in this
instance as it produced an interesting 'ghostly' effect.
