The
weekend of June 26th to 27th June was packed with entertainment
in the village of Goodrich, Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire
with both children's medieval entertainment at the Castle
and a music festival at the village school. On this page
you can see photographs of medieval tile making in the chapel
of the castle, 'Have a go Archery' in the castle moat, children
crafting swords from willow and Mark Cooper's performance
of the story of Robin Hood. The music festival is covered
here.
Having
had a busy weekend, I was unable to take the usual hundreds
of photographs and just attended both events very briefly
on Sunday afternoon to take a few. I know from the personal
experience of having had to cancel my usual Saturday Ross
Market that the weather was appalling on Saturday but Sunday
was fine and both events seemed to be proving extremely
popular and entertaining.
