A nice site you have - loved the photos. I wish others took your
love for their surroundings and made it into a website. I have
a friend who lives in your area. I see why he's also so sweet
- "it's in the air" '-) Enjoy your day. |

Hi great site, I visited Ross last year and loved it so much
that when I passed through on my way to Wales last week I stopped
to show my parents. Its one of the best places I've visited and
a beautiful little town. Also a great site well deserved for the
area. I also took them to beautiful Symonds Yat - a great place
to visit! |

Hello my name is Jenna and I am 14 years old. I was lucky
enough to meet the Queen Elizabeth II on her recent visit to John
Kyrle High School. If you browse through the event photographs
on the Queen's visit link on this website, on the third picture
down you can see me in the background! I was very excited to be
featured on this site as it is one of my favourites - especially
as I am seen with the Queen. Thank you very much, Jenna x |

I lived in Ross for nearly 4 years and returned to NZ just
over 2 years ago. I love your website and how I can see my old
house and remember the great times I had there. I hope to return
one day and see all the friendly faces of Ross on Wye once again.
Thanks for providing such a great reference to such a wonderful
little place. |

My father Kenneth Webb was born in Ross, his mother Ethel
Nora Webb (nee Scutt), and his father Eric Bertram Webb, it is
my fathers 70th birthday next week, and I intend taking him 'home'
for the day, this site has given me a wonderful insight to his
childhood. Thank you, I cannot wait to show it to him. Keep up
the good work!! |

WOW ! lucky you did't need the town planners to approve this, you
would never have got it off the ground!.Departed in 95 for the
Gulf and since realized how lucky i was to grow up in Ross. Still
get back a couple of times a year but don't see too many folk
from school anymore. So many memories but not enough space.Keep
up the good work, Anyone remember me, drop me a line. |

Born 1967 in Herefordshire General, lived in Ross until I
was 23, (Duxmere), then headed West. Unbelievably that was almost
13 years ago. It still seems like and always will be home. On
a dull rainy night here in Northern New Jersey your website has
just put an enormous smile on my face. Nice. Thanks! |

Just found your website. Thank you so much for a great tour.
We plan to visit in 2004 and are trying to decide the best time
of year etc. MANY years ago my ancestors lived at Raglan Castle
so I am especially interested in any events in or around Raglan
Castle. You have given us many ideas on festivals, etc that we
want to attend. Thank you. Linda |

Dear Alan, thank you very much for sending us your Web site
of Ross-on-Wye. It's really excellent and give us a godd idea
of the beauty of the landscape along the River Wye and the town
of Ross. We are visiting Ross with 66 citizens of Betzdorf at
the beginning of June. Your Web site may give the visitors of
Betzdorf an ideal impression of what is expecting them there.
So, thank you again. Yours Dr. G. Hermann Chairman of the Betzdorf
= Ross Twinning Association |

Hi Alan, The star pictures are really good. I'm going to print
them out for James who has his whole room decorated with "space"
items. Really sad for families of the brave pioneers! Hopefully
going camping in the desert next week, no neon around there so
I might see a few stars shame you can't join us. Love to all there
John P.S. For your information, it seems we may well be coming
back to the UK for good very shortly. |

I was wondering, do you have any photographs of the "Challenger's"
first re-entry and landing? I hope that you don't mind that I
have linked your page to my own. May I use a picture to create
a banner? Look in, and say hello, Kathryn |

My grandmother was from Symond's Yat. And lived in Ross. I
enjoyed seeing the photos of the area. Do you have any of the
post office in Symond's Yat? She lived across the road and up
a hill in a house, tudor- styled with black and white. I heard
that the roads were being changed and here house may have been
removed. The house was called, Bramble? My mother enjoyed looking
at areas that her Mum must have seen before immigrating in 1921.
Thank you. Patricia |

The site is a huge bonus for Ross.I visited it to check on
reference to the Ross Civic Society and look forward to the day
they have their own website. As ex-resident of Symonds Yat, thanks
for photos of Doward Caves which I used to know. |
