Mike and Lorna Hill would love to welcome you to Hilltop BOP, their Birds of Prey centre which is situated at Llangarron, close to the historic market town of Ross-on-Wye. Hilltop Bop offers an affordable, no hassle, raptor experience, using predatory birds both indigenous and exotic, to educate and enjoy. Using species of Hawk, Falcon and Owl, Mike and Lorna involve private guests on the art and sport of falconry, as well as the beauty, grace and power of these fascinating raptors. It is their mission to teach audiences all over the importance of wildlife and conservation, and indeed the animals found in it, priding themselves with many species of raptors both recognisable and loved in this country.

Hilltop Bop offers the opportunity for visitors to go along on days to suit and, unlike a zoo, the day will be very much based around the visitor. Groups of up to six people at a time are welcomed, being assured that there will be no missed opportunity, nor any fighting through crowds to view the beautiful beautiful birds there. You will be promised not only a front row seat to see what they do, but also the chance to take part, having the birds flying over your heads and onto your fist. For these special days, Mike and Lorna offer several different options depending on how long you want to spend with them, whether it be for just an hour, three hours or all day, you are promised a great time.

As well as taking bookings for displays at Hilltop Bop, Mike and Lorna are also available to transport their magnificent birds to private functions. These private demonstrations have become incredibly popular treats for birthdays and anniversaries, as well as brownie and girl guiding groups, and cub and scout groups. Your day can be built around your specific requirements, even down to the topics you would like Mike and Lorna to talk about. All age groups can be catered for who can learn all about the necessity for conservation, the hunting habits of birds of prey, or learn a little more about the personalities of the raptors visiting you. You will also be given ample opportunity to handle and fly the birds yourself.
