Below
are four photographs of the morris and clog dancing which took
place at the Hope
& Anchor, Ross-on-Wye on Saturday, 12th June 2004. Morris
sides from Letchworth, Leicester and the Forest of Dean as well
as clog dancers from Cinderford, Forest of Dean provided the
traditional dance entertainment on a hot and sunny afternoon.
On
this occasion, I was between two jobs and so did not have the
time to stay on after the dancing but I am sure that, in true
English dance tradition, one or two pints of beer were consumed
afterwards and a good time was had by all.
