India Cottage was once a warehouse and was converted to living accommodation in 2002. It has recently been beautifully refurbished to offer the best in self catering accommodation arranged on three floors for one couple . Old oak beams of the former tea shop (hence the name) blend superbly with superior contemporary fittings and décor.

The ground floor has been fitted with under floor heating and comprises a lovely, romantically furnished double bedroom, a kitchen / diner and a spacious bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped with oven / hob and extractor, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher, toaster and kettle as well as all the usual cooking utensils. Contemporary black and white crockery and stylish glassware complement the stunning dining table. The supermarkets are virtually on the doorstep for your supplies, however, if you don't wish to cook whilst on holiday, there is a great range of pubs and restaurants literally a couple of minutes walk away.

The stylish lounge is furnished beautifully with leather seating and during the daylight hours, natural light streams in through the large window. A television is installed so you need not miss out in your favourite programmes during your visit and there is a selection of games, such as Trivial Pursuit etc. which guests are welcome to use.

On the third floor is a lovely study area, where you might like to sit and quietly read.

During the warmer months you may like to take advantage of the private, South facing roof garden, which is accessed via the lounge and enjoy the sunshine whilst taking in a lovely view of John Kyrle's Summer House and the imposing spire of 14th century St. Mary's church.
