in history and tradition, The
King's Head Hotel is a fourteenth century building, which
was originally a coaching inn. The hotel has original oak beams
throughout and boasts fifteen guest rooms, all of which are furnished
with extremely comfortable beds, television, telephone, trouser

is served all day and a bar menu is available from 12 noon until
2:30 pm. During the evening, proprietor and chef, James Vidler
presents a fine a la carte menu in the restaurant which is open
from 6:30 pm until 9:00 pm. An interesting feature of the restaurant
is that it has a sixty foot well as its centrepiece.

the King's Head, which is situated in a beautiful Georgian pine
panelled room, furnished with comfortable sofas and easy chairs,
making it the ideal place for a relaxing drink. Alternatively,
on sunny days you may wish to take your drink outside to the beer
garden and patio.
