Kyrle Street,
linking Broad Street
with Edde Cross Street
is named after John Kyrle 1673 to 1724. John Kyrle, 'The Man
of Ross' was a philanthropist and social reformer who devoted
his life to improving living conditions in Ross on Wye. He was
born in Dymock but his Ross home was in High
Street and is still there today.
Somebody
recently wrote to me to remind me that I had not updated the
photographs on this page since 2002 and that the houses had
been painted since my last photograph, so today I remedied that
situation by taking some more.
Businesses
located in Kyrle Street include: [Architectural
Ironmongery] [Jacqueline's
Night Club]
