Elaine Fear would like to welcome you to May Hill View, her lovely B&B and self catering studio apartment which is situated in the quiet village of Upton Bishop, approximately four miles from the historic market town of Ross-on-Wye. Due to its location, May Hill View is an ideal place to stay if exploring this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It is just two miles from the M50 and the Forest of Dean, Goodrich, Symonds Yat and Monmouth are all easily reached from here, with all they have to offer. May Hill View sits on the upper floor of a beautifully converted barn and features some of the original oak beams. Situated approximately 20 metres from the main house, the apartment offers guests privacy in peaceful, rural surroundings. May Hill View is perfect for a romantic break, yet is also ideal for a family holiday, as the apartment can accommodate up to five persons. The kitchenette area at May Hill View is well equipped with a larder fridge with a small freezer section, a mini oven with grill and microwave, hot plates, a toaster, a kettle and an egg cooker. For bed and breakfast guests, a self-service continental breakfast will be supplied each morning. If you prefer not to cook whilst on holiday, there are many pubs and restaurants just a few minutes drive, bus or taxi ride away. Continued . . . |

The lounge area at May Hill View is comfortably furnished with butterfly table and chairs and is equipped with a radio / CD player and a colour television with Freeview, DVD and iPod docking. There are playing cards and board games available for guests to use which is especially useful if the weather is not suitable for outdoor pursuits. In the shower room, you will find a selection of complimentary toiletries and towels and bathrobes are provided, as is bed linen. Laundry facilities, a drying area, an iron and ironing board are available upon request and there is a secure, covered area where guests are welcome to store bicycles, golf clubs, fishing tackle, pushchairs etc. May Hill View is set in the lovely grounds of Lower Rylands where 'Room Only' accommodation is also available in a double en-suite room situated in the main residence. All guests are welcome to enjoy the orchard and meadow areas, the patio and use of the grassed areas around the spa hot tub and in front of the pool house. The indoor swimming pool and hot tub, along with exercise equipment are available for guests to use at a small extra charge. Continued . . . |
