Lyn and Ray are happy to extend a warm welcome to you at Saffron Apartment, their newly equipped holiday let which accommodates four persons. The apartment is a self-contained annexe attached to the family house where you can enjoy your privacy and the use of their lovely garden.

Saffron House is situated in the beautiful Wye Valley just a few minutes walk away from the banks of the River Wye and Monmouth Town centre, as well as being in close proximity to Symonds Yat and the historic market town of Ross-on-Wye. Local outdoor pursuits include canoeing, golf, walking, mountain-biking and fishing. There are also some wonderful places to eat and drink locally if food is your pleasure. Historic and scenic opportunities abound locally. However, if you care to explore further afield, Brecon, Bristol, Birmingham, Hay-on-Wye and Cardiff are all within an hours drive away.

The accommodation in the Saffron apartment is on one level and sleeps up to four persons. The double bedroom has a spacious en suite shower room and a sofa bed is situated in the lounge area. Bedding, linen and towels are provided for your stay and the double bed will be made up ready for your arrival. Children are welcome and Lyn and Ray will be happy to provide highchair and cot upon request.

The kitchen/dining area is well equipped for four with a hob/oven, fridge, microwave oven, kettle and toaster. A welcome pack is provided to help you ease into your holiday and includes bacon (or vegetarian option), free-range eggs, bread, tea, coffee, sugar and milk. You will also be welcomed with a bottle of red or white wine to help you to unwind after your journey. Please just let Lyn or Ray know which you prefer.

You may like to take advantage of the barbecue facility, which is available upon request, however there is a good range of pubs and restaurants within easy walking or driving distance if you prefer not to cook whilst on holiday.

The lounge area is very comfortably furnished with a sofa plus a sofa bed, occasional furniture, a 23 inch digital TV and DVD player. This is a great place to relax after a busy day sightseeing or taking part in one of the many activities available in the area. There are many places of scenic and historic interest nearby, including Goodrich Castle, Raglan Castle and Yat Rock, where nesting Peregrine Falcons may be seen. If the weather is not in your favour, however, Lyn and Ray have provided a selection of books and games to keep you entertained.

Please note that the apartment is non smoking and it is asked that you respect this. However, there is no objection to you smoking outside.

Off road parking is available at the Saffron Apartment, as is a laundry facility and heating at no extra cost.

Unfortunately, your pets cannot be accommodated.
