Welcome to the New
Life Church in Ross-on-Wye (part of New Day International).
The church has recently moved from the Ryefield Centre and now
meets at Christ Church, in Edde Cross Street every Sunday at 4.00
pm with crèche facilities and children's church available for
those with young children.
Mid-week
groups meet for fellowship and Bible study (Wednesdays) and prayer
(Thursday). New Life Church has existed in Ross since 1997 with
the vision to a) build a community of believers who worship God,
Jesus and the Holy Spirit and who love each other and b) to reach
out to a wider community with the love of God and a demonstration
of His healing power. They welcome people of all ages and walks
of life.
A
tea for Senior Citizens is held approximately every six weeks.

The
work of New Life Church extends to overseas missions including
supporting a) a Christian couple in Sri Lanka - who have been
instrumental in organizing aid for the Tsunami victims b) a project
to house street children in Delhi, India c) a Christian radio
programme in Kampala, Uganda who see many miracles in answer to
prayer d) a feeding programme in Kisumu, Kenya for a primary school
in a poor area e) a primary school building project in one of
the poor suburbs of Kampala, Uganda.
In
August 2005 a group from Herefordshire led by John & Sue Gasston
went to Kampala to check the progress at the New Rock Foundation
School and assist in painting ready for the official opening of
the school. Members of the church visit projects regularly to
ensure that the money they raise is being used as intended and
that all money goes directly to the projects as they do not take
out administration costs.
