Left: Congratulations to Iris Gummery and Pam Craig on their retirement after putting in a total of 64 years work at St. Weonard's School near Ross-on-Wye! Iris was the School Assistant and Pam, the School Cook.

Below: Carol singing at Ross-on-Wye Market in aid of the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children. The group included Dreda Darling as Mary, Charlie Kibble as Joseph and Billy Kibble as a shepherd. The donkey, Bridie belongs to Bridget Smith, Vice Chairman of the local branch of the NSPCC.

Further Below: Wild Oats Morris perform at the Hope & Anchor on Monday 20th December to celebrate the Winter Solstice, which actually occurs on the 21st. Sorry I couldn't stay to the end but I had a shepherd's pie awaiting and had to eat that before continuing with preparing this issue of the news.
