Above and below: Congratulations to Beth and Charlie Jones of Laburnum Close, Ross-on-Wye on their Golden Wedding Anniversary. Above they can be seen celebrating fifty years with a party at the Prince of Wales and below with their family. Beth and Charles met at school, when they were five years old, they lived in Bromsash and were married at Weston Church. The couple worked together at Sainsbury Eccleswall Farm, Bromsash.

Bottom: Nothing particularly topical news wise about this photograph. I took it as I happened to be visiting a friend who lives in a top floor flat in Broad Street. I just thought it shows the street from an unusual angle.

Above. Wild daffodils, Narcissus in Dymock Wood. Taken during the afternoon of Monday, 21st February 2005, this is the first of the wild daffodils I have seen in flower in the wood this year.

Below. Again in Dymock wood, this photograph was taken during a snow storm which occurred less than five minutes after my having taken the one above. With a weather front approaching from the direction of Siberia, more snow and freezing conditions are forecast for the coming week, possibly lasting into the early part of next. It would appear that those waxwings were right!
