Pub
& Club Regatta
|
Rowers
at this year's Ross-on-Wye Pub & Club Regatta were
not put off by the long and very heavy showers which took
place at Ross Rowing Club on Sunday, 22nd May and there
were some very close finishes. After the event, a presentation
took place during which a one minute silence was held
in remembrance of Jacqueline Danter, who died suddenly
on Friday, 13th may. Pictured below are the winning teams,
including a rear view of the 'Barrel' team, 'Sam's Oars',
who carried a tribute to the owner of the pub.
I
have only included only one token race photograph as there
are just too many to publish here. The presentation photographs
are continued on the next page. As time allows, I will
publish more race photographs in the gallery.
The
names of the winning team members are in the captions
below each photograph.
