Above:
The two young ladies in the photo above have no idea I am
publishing this shot, which I sneakily took last Wednesday.
They are Sheila and Joan at the Cantilupe Café, which
is my favourite place for breakfast in Ross-on-Wye. They
have not paid for, or even thought about advertising - they
don't need to. As far as I know, they are not even aware
that I am connected with this web site. I have put them
here because I reckon they cook the best breakfast in the
known universe!
Below:
A Quiz Night in aid of Ross Carnival was hosted at the Hope
& Anchor on Sunday evening, 31st July.

Above
and below: a damsel fly and rather pretty butterfly, both
photographed this week, by my natural garden pond. Both
damsel and dragon flies are regular visitors to the pond
throughout the summer months.

Oops!
Judging by the Ford Cortina, this photograph in High Street
was taken during the 1970s, when traffic was two way and
there was no Ross Bypass.
Incidentally,
I don't know if the Fords' designer was aware but 'Cortina'
is the Latin word for 'kettle'. An aptly named car, if ever
there was one!
