Following the success of the Arts Day at Ross Market Place in May, the organizers arranged another which was held on Sunday 28th August. There was a good range of arts and crafts for visitors to view and purchase and the event proved yet again to be a great success.

Ross were very pleased with their own club's results at this year's regatta, which took place at Ross Rowing Club over the bank holiday weekend.

Having only been together for a week, the Ross / Gloucester composite pair, Tim Bunting and Andy Grant won the Open Senior against Wales / Newcastle. Following a successful season, Ross Ladies 8 won at home. Best of all however, following three previous narrow defeats, Ross Novices, who began rowing at the Pub & Club regatta earlier this year, won their first regatta, coming in first in six races, followed by the final.
