Below: An opening evening at Walford Village Hall on Friday, 25th November. Walford Village Hall had been closed since July for much needed refurbishment, which included an extended kitchen, disabled toilet, classroom for pre-school children and a much needed storeroom. Many grants were necessary for the refurbishment and money was received from DEFRA, SWEF, The Big Lottery Fund and Herefordshire Council, along with many other donations and constant fund-raising. A Christmas Bazaar was held on Sunday, 27th November, which included Santa's Grotto, a Victorian kitchen and an auction in conjunction with children in need. The whole event raised over £650.
