Members of Ross Town Band gathered together at Ross community Hospital on Saturday, 10th December to dedicate a tree and plaque in memory of band members who have died since the band reformed, twenty years ago. Family members of bandsmen and women who have passed on also attended the dedication.

Also included are photographs of the Phelps family and a group photograph of representatives from each family: Joan Ollis, Barbara Clarke, Betty Gwatkin, Dorothy Ruck, Di Lerigo, Michael and Philip Dew, Kyra Dew, Roger Phelps, Emma Ryman, Anthea, James, Rebecca and Andy Hamilton and Janet Pascoe.

Ross Pensioners and disabled people enjoyed a Christmas Party at the Larruperz Centre on Saturday, 10th December. Approximately ninety five people attended the party, which was provided by Ross Rotary Club with the Inner Wheel, wives of Rotarians providing the catering.

Entertainment was provided by Ross Town Band and the choir from Ashfield Park Primary School sang Christmas carols.
