As
promised, here are some more Ross-in-Bling 2005 photos,
taken on Sunday, 18th December on the Tudorville and south
west side of town. I was actually intending to take more
but whilst I was out, the slight precipitation became
rather persistent and I opted for a Chinese takeaway instead.
This week has been a really busy one - I've photographed
Santa in about a dozen locations and I've been to just
about every school in Ross to photograph nativity plays
and carol concerts. I even went to the wrong school once
as, with all the calls I got confused. If I get time,
I will photograph more blings but, to be honest, I'm totally
knackered and just about blinged out.
If
Ross-in-Bling had been a competition and I had to choose
winners, I would give the 'Pretty and Tasteful Street
Award' to the Gresleys, the 'Epileptic's Nightmare Award'
to Three Crosses Road and just hang on to the 'Ebenezer
Scrooge Conservation Award' myself.
Before you enjoy the blings below, leaving Ross-on-Wye
for a moment why not allow the wonders of modern science
to transport you across the Pond to Canada, from where
a regular Wyenot News reader sent me the Mother of all
Blings on video. Thank you for that, Peter. At the risk
of running my bandwidth bill through the roof - click
here to watch and be amazed by this display of blinginess.
