Hi
Alan,
I was just browsing the net looking for Tony Rivers and
Castaways sites when your Wyenot News online site popped
up and reminded me that I haven’t been in contact for
ages. I hope all is well with you and family. I’m really
surprised at how much info is still available regarding
bands of some thirty years standing. Tony Rivers has now
moved to Spain and, I guess, retired but knowing Tony
he will find some way of getting involved with music.
I had hoped to go down to Essex earlier this year to do
a reunion gig with a bunch of friends from the “old days”.
Unfortunately our lead singer/rhythm guitarist and lifelong
friend Cliff Early died just after Xmas so it all got
knocked on the head. In the meantime all is well here
in Devon and we can now get back onto the roads again
after the snow. I still have my recording studio in the
attic and when I get time between troubleshooting computers
I do a bit of recording. Thanks for the mention on the
site.
Best regards,
Graham

Dear
Alan,
Just
to let you know that your news is greatly appreciated,
it keeps me in touch with Ross and the surrounding area.
We lived at Lea from 1968 - 2000 and then at Sellack until
September 2001 when we moved to West Cork, Ireland.
I am a bit of an amateur photographer myself, this is
where I live now.
Seasons
Greetings.
Karen Millward.
Two
of Karen's photographs can be seen below. West Cork looks
beautiful!
