Whitchurch Primary Christmas Play

Whitchurch Primary School put on a Christmas play on Friday 8th December. The play was written to feature characters from fairy tales and pantomimes. The costumes were very colourful and the children had a lot of fun dressing up as their characters.

In the first of the photographs below are five, very pretty young fairy dancers. Below that you can see the seven dwarfs. It looks as though Snow White might have had her hands full with that cheeky looking group. In the following picture is the group of pantomime characters and finally, the whole colourful cast pose together.

Hosanna Rock at Weston Primary

Weston Under Penyard Primary School put on a fine performance of Hosanna Rock on Monday 11th December. Hosanna Rock is an upbeat, musical production incorporating both singing and acting to portray the traditional Christmas Story. There was a huge cast, involving most of the children at the school and their performance was thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended.
