Looking back at 2006 Part One

During the year 2006 I took 14,303 photographs to cover 511 different stories on Wyenot News, so you can imagine how difficult it was to choose just one photograph from each month to produce this article. So many great events took place during the past year. The otters have returned to the Wye, we had a brief visit from Chris Tarrant, John Kyrle High School and many of the other schools in Ross-on-Wye have made great achievements and many individuals have done their utmost to keep Ross-on-Wye a beautiful and interesting place to visit. I hope you enjoy my photographic selection.

February: An otter takes a breather after a hard morning's fishing in the Wye at Wilton. Ref: DSC_6097

March: Mayor, Gordon Lucas held a successful charity ball at the Chase Hotel. Ref: DSC_7318

April: The County Air Ambulance in action. Fortunately the patient was not seriously hurt. Ref: DSC_8123

May: Chris Tarrant takes time to talk to Stevie and Madison Cook at the White Lion. Ref: DSC_9169

Previously unpublished. After a hard day's cider drinking, Ingrid has to drive the vintage Bentley. Ref: DSC_9203
