APRIL
MEETING OF TOWN COUNCIL
Meetings of the Town Council are held on the second
Monday of the month. In April the second Monday is
a Bank Holiday. A decision therefore needs to be made
to reschedule the meeting for Monday, 16 April. Also
it has been suggested that the Monthly meetings of
the Town Council should be held at alternative venues
around the town and this needs to be considered.

FOR GRANT AID
Requests
for grant aid are usually discussed by Finance & Administration
Committee but the last meeting did not take place
and the applicant has indicated that there is an urgency
about a response. The Chamber of Commerce has requested
money to commission a consultant's report on coach
travel arrangements, promotional material and possible
ways of improving visitor numbers.
