Ross
from a Helicopter: Part Three - Ross Town

Heading back out across the river, we then headed for the
Town Centre. The photos show the Royal Hotel and Church
and the Market House, Broad Street, High Street and Gloucester
Road.
I
did of course take many more -possibly better photos of
this area but I have not had time to process them yet as
I am, again, running very late with this week's news.

Lions 'Ross Round' Charity Walk
|
|
Why
not wake up bright and early on Sunday morning 15th April
and join in the Ross Lions charity walk? Monies raised at
this event will be split between Acorns Childrens' Hospice
and the Lions' fund for their local charities, 75% and 25%
respectively.
The
walk begins at 9 am from the riverside opposite the bandstand.
There are various lengths of walk choose from, ranging from
four miles long to eighteen miles. For further information
about the walks, there is an article on page three of the
21st February issue of Wyenot News.
If you would like to take part in this event or you would
like to offer sponsorship, please contact either Lion Keith
Wilding on 01989 562145 or Acorns representative Fran Winterbourne
on 01386 554848.
