decided to hold a Real Ale and Cider Festival over Easter
weekend in order to raise funds for local charity St. Michael's
Hospice.
The
three day event was very well attended and customers were
treated to some excellent live music, provided by local
bands, Hazy Days, Switch and Banshee.
A
total of £323.17 was raised for St. Michael's.

Easter
Bonnets at Rosedale
|
|
The residents of Rosedale retirement home held a fund-raising
event on Saturday, the proceeds of which will go towards
the residents' activity fund. The fund covers the cost of
activities and day trips out. There was a craft stall on
the day, which was well supported by relatives and the residents
wore some beautiful Easter bonnets which they had made themselves,
with a little help from Activity Co-ordinator, Peggie McDill.
Their efforts were later judged and the winners are as follows:
First
prize went to Nancy Cover. Nancy will be 97 years of age
in May. Well done Nancy. Second prize went to George Davies,
third prize to Edna Hodgkins, fourth prize to Irene Weaver,
fifth prize to Alice Miles and sixth place went to Joan
Ollis.

HAVE TAKEN ME BACK THROUGH TIME.
Thank

who lived in Ross-on-Wye. Your website brings it all into
glowing living reality for me.
Many
