Since
publishing last week's aerial photos of Ross, which I took
from a helicopter on Easter Monday, I have received a lot
of, 'Did you photograph my street?' type enquiries. Unfortunately,
I just do not have time to print one for everybody so I
have made some full size images available here for free
download by those interested. Virtually everybody in Ross
Town should be able to locate their house to varying degrees
of quality on one of the photos.
The
file sizes of the downloads are very large (average size
3.5 - 4 Megabytes) and so will take a while to download
but if you click the small 'guide' images below, the full
size version (without the street names embedded) will open
in a separate window. Individual houses and buildings can
then be viewed at quite reasonable resolution. The images
can then be viewed on line or saved to your computer by
right clicking.
Thank
you to Nick Dale and to 'Heliflight'
for my spur of the moment, Helicopter Aerial Photography
flight. We spent about 35 minutes hovering over Ross as
well as overflying the gas pipeline, the Doward, Symonds
Yat, Goodrich, Upton Bishop, Linton and Huntley.
Since
uploading these images on Wednesday, I have changed the
system slightly by putting them onto an 'html' page. This
is to stop people taking them from 'Google Images' and other
photograph rippers without seeing the terms and conditions.

full size, downloadable photographic images
are for personal use only and must not
be altered in any way whatsoever or published
in any magazine, newspaper or even in charity

School projects, desktop wallpaper, personal
printing and emailing to friends is fine as
long as no changes are made and the images are
