FROM LAST
WEEK PART FIVE
- ROSS AND GREYTREE
|
|
Following
last week's 'Download Your House' aerial photos, I had a
few people tell me they could not see the Greytree area
very well so I have done the best I can to correct this
situation in this section, as well as covering the view
over town from above the river.
Sorry
- I have placed the 'Three Crosses' label too high in the
second down and noticed it too late.
Having
had enquiries about 'Angry Policeman Street' and 'Viagra
Cresent'. Think about it. 'Angry Policeman Street' is actually
called 'Copse Cross Street'. 'Viagra Cresent', I did for
a joke, just to wind Tina up: 'You can't publish that!'
But then I forgot to remove it.
These
photos are absolutely the best I can do for Greytree at
the moment, I'm afraid. They are not brilliant. What would
have been the best one was taken into the sun and with my
striped tee shirt and shorts reflecting back badly in the
helicopter screen.

Theft
of Pressure Washer
|
|
A Kinzo power washer worth £99 was stolen from the Focus
DIY store in Overross, Ross-on-Wye, when it was thrown over
a security fence and loaded into a car. The incident happened
at about 2.50pm on Saturday, 14th April and was witnessed
by a member of the public who alerted store security. Two
young males were seen to drive away along the A449 in a
blue Peugeot 306.
Police
would like to trace the member of the public who alerted
store security or anyone else who may have witnessed the
incident. They should contact PC Mike Evans at Ross-on-Wye
Police Station on 08457 444888, quoting ref: 494-s-140407.

broken off.
