Did you know how many ladies are striving to become business women?

During the course of just over a year Gina Hastings has discovered hundreds of ladies who are striving to create that perfect life/work balance, by running small businesses from home as well as running a supportive family unit.

Gina can empathize with these ladies and understands the obstacles that have to be hurdled before they can really sparkle and show off their true potential

'I have been in a similar situation, whilst living abroad, I had my own business making wooden plaques for children to hang on their bedroom walls. It was very rewarding and it was a joy to be part of the trading group, both networking with other traders and the feel good factor that I felt when people chose to buy and order my products'

To this end the Gina's company, Hastings Events has created events called, 'Ladies in Business' where local Ladies are now given an extra opportunity to show their businesses off. Throughout the year events are organized where ladies can come along and sell their products to the interested public (both men and women are welcome).

'It never ceases to amaze me how innovative ladies are whilst trying to find that niche for themselves; with such a variety of products the 'Ladies in Business' events do very well.' The events are well attended and when it comes to buying that special present or one- of-a-kind item there is so much to choose from. There are fashion items, beauty products, home accessories, artist's work and children's toys. Why not go along to one of these events and support your local 'Ladies in Business'; they really are worth coming to.

This coming Thursday, 26th April, there will be a 'Ladies in Business' event held at The Chase Hotel in Ross-on-Wye. These events will also be taking place at the following venues:

Ledbury Rugby Club on 24th May, the Hundred House Hotel, Great Witley on 28th June, Wharton Golf Club, Bewdley on 8th November and Malvern Theatre on 29th November.
