The students of John Kyrle High School are currently exhibiting
some of their GCSE and A Level art work at Ross Heritage
Centre. This exhibition, displaying the great talents of
the students started on Monday 9th July and will run until
Thursday 2nd August as part of their involvement with the
Heart of England In Bloom Campaign. Well worth a visit.
For
those of you who enjoy a little rock music, local band The
Dandelion Killers will be performing at The
Riverside Inn on Friday 13th July, playing a good mix
of covers and their own, original material..
'Jagged
Edge' will be providing the entertainment at The
Prince of Wales on Saturday, with a good range of cover
material. Looking forward to seeing you there Kev.
On
Sunday afternoon between 2 pm and 4 pm, the West Mercia
Police Band will be providing some entertainment for you.
Hopefully the sun will shine, as it did last week, which
rather increased the audience, who enjoyed last week's entertainment
by Tewkesbury Town Band.
Ross
Library is hosting 'Beyond The Concrete' an exhibition of
acrylics by Rob Kirbyson from Tuesday 17th July.
Please
don't forget that the Heart of England in Bloom judges are
in town on Tuesday 17th July. If anybody is interested in
having a stall at the Charities and Crafts Market on that
day, please contact Mary at the Heritage Centre as soon
as possible. Let's make sure that Ross Town and it's gardens
are litter free and colourful and help to get Ross back
onto the 'In Bloom' leaderboard this year.

On?' page of Wyenot.com.
