Saturday evening at the Prince
of Wales with Will Killeen was one of those really
good evenings for most. A few of the regular customers were
not into the blues. By far the majority of people thoroughly
enjoyed Will's brilliant guitar playing however, and we
all had a great time.
Gerald
and Gerry (Phil - I'm a little confused here) Kiss went
along to the Prince to see Will, arranging to meet school
friend, Chris Preedy and his wife, Veronica for a kind of
reunion. Brother, Alex Kiss also came along and Gerry told
me that, although the brothers have completely different
tastes in music, they were united in enjoying Will Killeen's
performance, as were the rest of the group.
It
was also explained at the time that Veronica Preedy, is
a 'Rowing Gold Medalist', I was just thinking , 'better
not argue with her then', when it was explained that she
was National Veterans Champ and that the event took place
at Henley. Her medals were for rowing, not rowing, so I
was safe.
To
keep the regular 'Wyenot News' punters happy, I have
included the usual 'Tina Dancing' photos below. I'm glad
I don't dance - the blues are pretty hard to dance to. Tina,
Gerry and Sandra seemed to manage fine though. I wish I
had filmed it!
John
Brown had a lucky escape. He walked past and nearly got
himself in a 'Tina Dancing' photo. Don't worry, John.
Us male non-dancers must always stick together. I would
have destroyed it to remove any possibility of future rumours.
In a court of law, I'm pretty sure that walking past in
time to the music cannot be misconstrued as 'dancing'.
