After achieving a brilliant result with third place in this
year's Ross Town carnival, Ross National Childbirth Trust's
Coffee and Chat group would like to say a huge thank you
to all the people who helped them with their float. They
would like to give a special mention on behalf of Droitwich
Land Rover, who paid for the Mum's tee shirts, which were
fabulously printed by Flying Colours. Also to Little Chic,
who donated the tee shirts for the children's costumes.
They
were also donated materials by G. D Parker & Sons, SCA Packaging,
Travis Perkins Ross, Coleman's, Coppini Caffe, Lorraine's
Hair dressing and Roy & Wendy Dunn. The float vehicle and
driver were generously donated by Gamber Produce, who saved
the day when NCT's first vehicle became unavailable.
'The
day was a huge success and we were absolutely thrilled to
come third in our class,' said Sarah Davies, Post Natal
Co-ordinator for the NCT. Sarah runs the group on Tuesdays
10-12 during term time at the Ryefield Centre.
'The
money we have raised will provide some new toys and equipment
for the group and help our branch continue to provide support
for new and expectant parents. We would also like to thank
all of those who put pennies in our buckets on the day.'
