Herefordshire
Nature Trust have been running a series of 'Play Days' for
children in and around Ross. The sessions are part of the
Trust's 'Wildplay' project and encourage children to get
outside and play, whilst investigating the natural world
around them.
The
activities will include things like den building, bug hunting,
making mud pies etc. so parents are advised not to take
their children along to these free sessions dressed in their
Sunday best.
There
are four remaining play days taking place and are as follows:
Today,
Wednesday, 22nd August - kings Caple Primary School,
Thursday, 23rd August - Goodrich Primary School,
Friday, 24th August - Tudorville, Ross-on-Wye, on the green
outside the youth centre,
Friday, 31st August - Peterchurch Community Hall.
The
sessions run between 10:30 and 12:30, then 1:30 and 3:30
pm and are FREE! There is no need to book a place but if
