modern day Cinderella story, with a twist, appears to be
unfolding in the market town of Bromyard, Herefordshire
this Eastertide. Deep in the night, perhaps at the stroke
of midnight, but certainly between 8pm on Saturday, 28th
and 10am on Sunday, 29th March 2009, some feather edge panels
to fencing of a property in Firs Orchard were kicked and
damaged by an unknown vandal. But in a hurry to escape,
the offender left behind a shoe. Not any shoe, but
a right, blue-coloured D&G skate boarder's trainer - size
8 or 9 to be precise.
A short while later,Prince Charming appeared on the scene,
in the shape of Bromyard's PC Jim Phillips. He found the
abandoned shoe. 'Whomsoever fitteth this shoe shall likely
be the culprit and, verily, they shall have their collar
felt,' he said.
than search the kingdom from top to toe alone, Prince Charming
is asking you to help him find the person who owns the trainer.
If you have information that will enable PC Phillips to
complete the story with a happy ending, please contact him
as soon as possible at Bromyard Police Station on 0300 333
3000 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
