Ross-in-Bloom held a charity and Crafts Market at Ross Market House on Holiday Monday, giving local charities the chance to boost funds, whilst helping Ross-in-Bloom to fund their endeavour to keep the town of Ross-on-Wye blooming beautiful throughout the season for the Herefordshire and Heart of England in Bloom competition. There was a good selection of stalls there selling paintings, photographs, books and many other items and I think all had a good day.

Each year more and more people join in with Ross-in-Bloom by making their gardens look stunning or by putting hanging baskets outside of their business premises or maintaining the planters in the street. After enjoying some lovely home-made ginger ale and a bacon butty at Ross Rainbows and Guide's stall, we went upstairs to Ross Heritage Centre on Monday, where Lyn Tomlinson was making some beautiful hand crafted cards. Lyn spoke to us for WNTV about the event as well as how to enter this year's Ross-in-Bloom competition.
