MAYOR DAVIES AND SIR CHRIS OPEN HOPE & ANCHOR GARDEN ROOM

The long awaited opening of the Hope & Anchor Garden Room finally took place on Thursday, 23rd April and as this date was also St. George's Day, what better way for a venue to be opened than by Ross Town Mayor, Councillor John Davies, nobly assisted by two knights in shining armour, Chris Maily and John Wrieden. Geoff Overall of the Marston Pub Company was present and proprietor, Debbie McNally and staff dressed up for the occasion in some stunning medieval costume and the opening night was a great success.

It had taken 20 months for plans for the Garden Room to come to fruition, for various reasons. However, once the plans were passed, the build took a mere five weeks, courtesy of Tim Yates and his team, resulting in a beautiful riverside dining room with a seating capacity for thirty two persons.

We are certain that the Garden Room will prove to be a big hit with customers throughout the coming season, whether attending a wedding, a party or just enjoying a relaxing meal on the banks of the Wye.
