Rant - Ball Restrictions in Parks
you have been to the Tudorville Park's recently, you would
have noticed the new signs which have been put up by the
Herefordshire Housing which read, 'No Dogs - No Bicycles
- No Ball Games'.
I agree with two of them - 'No Dogs and No Bicycles' - but,
the no ball games is absolutely ridiculous. Two weeks ago,
my 2 friends and I were playing football with a reasonably
sized and weighed ball, when a neighbour reported us. We
were talked to by the police, and they told us to never
play football out there again.
if we cannot play football outside our house or in the Park's,
WHERE CAN WE PLAY?
big park has been deemed as playable now. Because Herefordshire
Housing has had three different officers in the past five
months, the first officer signed the paper to say 'put the
signs up', then when she quit, the second officer
didn't know anything about it. The same goes for the third.
'No Ball Games' part has been taken down. But there is still
one at the new park, Deanhill Park and Brampton park.
I agree with 'No Bikes' and 'No Dogs', but 'No Ball Games'...
What do they expect us to do on a Saturday and Sunday?
